Leave of Absence

I just wanted to let everyone know that I will not be available from the 22nd of April till the middle of May or so.

I was originally going to travel south to give my sister away at her wedding but I decided that I wanted to move back home permanently as all of my family lives there. I think this move will be good for me and it will nice to be closer to my family especially since I have not lived back home for the last 12 years or so. I have a huge family, with 24 aunts/uncles and 30+ first cousins so it will be nice to be around family again.

That said, I will be online but not as much as I normally am, at least until after the wedding (May 8th). So I have about 13 days until the big move. I have already been packing some but still have a lot of packing left do. Moving can be a pain with all the packing and such especially when you have to drive 800 miles to get to your destination. Although, I have to say that it will be nice to get back South where we have normal weather. This northern snow is for the birds.

The move will give me a chance to use my Android tablet in a real world test, well that is if I have cell signal to tether with. :)

    I am sure you will do well no matter where you are, but happy to see you will have some family near by after the move. Family is very important. Sometimes they can drive ya a little nuts, but even so, there’s no place like home! :D

    Support from family, and support given to family can make all the difference in the world as long as you are strong enough to maintain your own individuality among them.

    I wish your sister well in her new life with her husband after her marriage!

    Thanks for the words of encouragement!!

    Oh believe me, I will have no problem maintaining my individuality. The problem will be everyone asking me if I could fix their computers. I already have a cousin and an aunt asking me to fix their machines even though I am not even there yet.

    I will probably convert everyone to Linux anyway hehehe :-)

    Oh do not worry, I will never become lost. I have too much stuff going on lol. Believe me, getting online is priority. I have plenty of money saved and I will be getting the internet turned on as soon as I get there. I just have to make my rounds visiting family and getting through the wedding. After that, I will be on all the time like normal. I am a geek after all!!
